PDF with security.
Hi,
is there a possability to create a PDF with security turned on ?
Several of my customers have official PDF editors.
They have salesmen who create PDFs from our programs, they however have
found it's very easy to ammend a mistake in an offer to a customer through
the PDF editor.....
If the security is turned on they can no longer ammend the PDFs.
(They have no ability to install a program that can modify secured PDFs)
I know I can use a separate PDF printerdriver with the security options on
but that's tedious.
(Installing drivers on each machine, making sure it has the same name
everywhere etc.etc.)
Even more tedious to send a mail that way.
Kind regards,
Erik van Putten.

The built-in PDF device does not currently support PDF encryption/security.
This is a feature we would like to add for a later release of ReportBuilder.
I believe the numerous third party PDF devices do offer this feature
however...
