RichText Merge Problem

RB 10.07 Enterprise / Delphi 2007 / Vista Business

I have a problem where the RichText component on preview replaces the merge
fields with the actual values of the fields. That would be fine in preview
only, but when I return to the design tab, there are no merge fields any
more. They have been replaced with text from the database. For example, if
the first name is David, now instead of FirstName I have David in the designer. What
could be wrong?

Please update to RB 10.09 and retest. This was a bug that has been fixed.

Hello Nard,
I still have the same problem in RB 10.09 Ent/D2007/Visa Business
Completely unistalling, cleaning up folders and reinstalling RB 10.09 Ent
doesn't help.
The only workaround so far is to destory the form and re create it at
runtime to make the report merge correct values again.
Is there a patch to apply to fix this issue?
