How can I get the name of the printer that the user chose when
ppReport1.ShowPrintDialog := true?

Try using the Report.OnPrintDialogClose event to check
if myReport.PrinterDevice <> nil then
ShowMessage(myReport.PrinterDevice.Printer.PrinterName);
