When I try to print a report (RB v.11) containing a 2D barcode to PDF, the barcode is unreadable - it looks like a dot pattern and the PDF after printing cannot be scanned. Can it be fixed?
Are you creating PDF 417 or Maxicode barcodes? When exporting PDF 417, I noticed a faint line between rectangles at certain zoom percentages in Acrobat however they were not visible after printing. Are you able to successfully scan a barcode printed directly from ReportBuilder?
This happens when I print PDF417. I didn't try the Maxicode. On the preview (or on the real printout) they are OK, but when I print to PDF they are unreadable. You can reproduce it in the example I sent you (to support) yesterday with the "Wrong number of arguments for a setcolor operator" problem.
I also tried to print the PDF out - still unreadable.
There is now a patch available for RB 11.0 that fixes this problem. Please send an email to support@digital-metaphors requesting the patch and we will send it to your as soon as possible.
