Deleting Columns

edited October 2008 in General
I have inadvertently clicked the Columns property which incremented to 2 and
added Column headers and Column Footers to me report. So far so good but I
don't want any columns and I am going spare trying to find a way to delete
them. I'm sure it is very simple but I can't stumble across it as yet. can
someone please put me wise.

    Hello,

For future reference please use your real name when posting to these
    newsgroups.

Columns can be deleted by either setting the Report.Columns property to a
smaller number (1) or by using the Layout tab of the Page Setup dialog
available from the file menu in the designer.

    Two points there Nico.

I set the report.column property to 1 immediately after inadvertently
setting it to 2 and the column header and footer remained on my report. I
then tried the Layout tab with similar lack of success. Hence my question in
    this newsgroup.

Secondly, the not very subtle ploy of using a pseudo name is to try and
avert being identified on the internet to people of limited ability but with
more than their fair share of malice. In an ideal world we wouldn't need to
resort to any kind of subterfuge but, sadly, we don't live in an ideal
world. So, pseudo names it is.

I see that you are an employee of Digital-Metaphors so you might consider it
inappropriate to get precious with me because I am unable to get your
programme to work the way it says on the box.

    Kind regards,

    PhredBear

I was able to recreate what you are experiencing and there is now a patch
available. This is an issue in both RB 10 and RB 11. Surprisingly, no one
noticed this before. To receive the patch, please email
    support@digital-metaphors.com.

We are asking customers to post using their real name. An alternative is to
    use email via support@digital-metaphors.com.
