Dialog - AfterAutoSearchDialogCreate
For version 11.01,
I have a dialog that is displayed in the ReportAfterAutosearchdialog
create event of the report writer. When previewing the report, this
dialog is displayed allowing the user to enter a report notation for the
report.
After previewing the report, if the user clicks on the auto search icon,
a custom filter is displayed allowing the user to refilter the report
without having to close the preview window. Then the report will
refilter. However, when refiltering the dialog is displayed before the
report is done calculating the pages (report is set to two pass) and so
the enters the report notation and clicks ok, but the dialog will stay
there until the report is done calculating. Is there a different event
this could be done on?

Try using the Report.OnInitializeParameters event to display your custom
dialog.
