Printdialog shows "Default" in stead of the default printer

Hi,

On a vista computer a user doesn't get the default printer (like: HP deskjet
3310), but it sais "Default"
The real default printer can be selected from the dropdownlist, but when
printing to it, it give an error about incorrect installation???

Other applications can print to this printer and there the default printer
is shown as expected in the printdialog.

Is there any way to solve this behavior?

For future reference please always include environment info: RepotBuilder
version, Delphi version, Windows version, etc.

I would try uninstalling the printer driver. Download the latest from
manufacturer web site. Reboot the machine. Install the new driver.

Also make sure that the windows user account under which the RB application
is executing has full access rights to the printer.

Hello Nard,

I'm using RB 10.09, Delphi 2007 Enterprise and Windows XP.
The application is currently installed on XP and Vista.

I'll ask my customer to uninstall and re-install the printerdriver.
