Default Font

How can one when creating a new report set the font so that all new
objects placed into a band etc will have that font by default.

Another Q: Is it possible in the designer to set the font or any other
property in the object inspector of a simultaneously across a group of
selected objects.

Hi Kevin,

The default font assigned (along with other default options) are kept in the
RBuilder.ini file either located in your \LocalSettings or WINSYS
directory. Adjusting these properties will ensure the default is always
used.

It is possible to adjust the component options of numerous selected report
components using the toolbars rather than the built-in inspector.

Hello,

the default font settings are being replaced by the designer, it seems,
depending on what font settings the element has, which is selected when the
template is being saved. Is that correct or am I doing anything wrong?

If that's correct: Is there are way to prevent this?

Hi Mark,

Yes this is correct. The default font is saved as the last font used
when the report is saved. You can override this behavior by altering
the RBuilder.ini as described in my earlier post on this thread.
