Hi,

My I have a blob field in my database. This field can contain any type of
image (BMP, JEG, etc.).

Is there a way that the DBImage object of RB can automatically detect the
graphic type, for example by examining the header of the image data to be
loaded to auto-determine the graphic type?

If not, are you planning to add this feature in a next version of RB?

There is currently no feature that automatically detects the image type for
a DBImage. This is definitely something we would like to add for a later
release
