Showing a group total calculated at group footer in a group header

Hi,

I have an invoice which uses a variable to calculate a total based on a
dbcalc object (total of detail lines) in the group footer. I want to also
display this variable in the group header. I have tried all sequences of
Timing but just cant get it to print the correct total. Where I have had
limited success when I scroll through pages and back again the value changes
to an incorrect value. I have also tried assigning declared variables in
RAP and using that to assign to a variable object with no success.

What is the preferred way to achieve the desired result as I have had no
luck?

Also I have managed to get it to a point where it shows the total at the
group header but on the next invoice ie the next invoice shows the total of
the previous invoice

Hi Alex,

Be sure you have the Lookahead property of the variable set to True and that
you have a two pass report.

Try reseting the varialbe after the group breaks.
