Outlook security settings when emailing from RB11
Hi,
When emailing from Report Builder 11 (in code) the Outlook 2007 security
message about "a program is trying to automatically send e-mail on your
behalf." comes up with every email and the user has to wait a few seconds to
click the 'Allow' button. I realise this is a 'feature' (if that's not too
strong a word) of Outlook, but is there any way to get around it? Even if
the message could be clicked just once it would make a difference.
Thanks,
Steve Branley

Unfortunately this cannot be disabled when using Simple MAPI (the built-in
MAPI plugin). This is Microsoft's solution to keeping external applications
from taking control of your machine and spamming other machines with
Outlook.
ReportBuilder 11 includes a plugin for EasyMAPI which is a third party
Extended MAPI library which allows you to remove these messages.
