Additional Bands

Is is possiable to create additional detail bands that would say display a
detail band a and detail band b for one record row.

The report I'm working on requires some fine page breaking within the same
record row.

Use subreports. For two detail bands, place two subreports in the main
detail band. Acces the workspace for each subreport and design the layout
there.

I need to sometimes page break between them though. Any break I put in just
pages breaks the entire detail row.
