DBText fields truncating

edited July 2009 in General
We are having problems with certain DBText fields truncating (losing up
to half a character) when a report is created as a PDF file.

The problem occurs when setting our Xerox WorkCentre 7345 PCL6 printer
as our default printer. Setting our other printers as default printers
seems to cure the problem.

I have a couple of example PDF files if you need to have a look.

Is there any way to resolve this please?

    Hi Tim,

Which version of ReportBuilder and Delphi are you using? Are you loosing
characters when directly printing to the Xerox printer? Does this happen
with all DBText components or only certain ones?

    Hi Nico,

Thanks for getting back so promptly.

We are using Delphi 2007 along with Report Builder 11.0.

The problem happens in preview mode and is accentuated further on
    printing.

It doesn't happen on every DBText field. I have sent some examples in a
zip file to support@digital-metaphors.com to let you see where the
    problem occurs.

    Many thanks,

    Tim.
