    Hi Dmitry,

Thanks for your interest in ReportBuilder!

Yes, all versions of ReportBuilder include the full base source code with
    two exceptions.

    1. ReportBuilder Enterprise Edition does not include the source for any RAP
features. See the link below for a description of RAP.

    2. ReportBuilder Server Edition does not include source for any server
    related features.

Can you shed any light on the decision to not offer source for RAP? This
is a deal breaker for us since our policy is to have full source code
available for business continuity reasons. Given the number of Delphi
component vendors that have vanished or stopped releasing updates this
    is a major business concern.

    Hi David,

Having been in this market for quite some time now, we are aware of and
sensitive to the issues related to distribution of source code. With all
registered versions of ReportBuilder full source code is included.

However, RAP is a run-time Pascal compiler. Just as Embarcadero does not
distribute source code to the Delphi compiler, Digital Metaphors will not
distribute the source code to the RAP compiler.

ReportBuilder is still a very powerful reporting platform when used without
    RAP.

The use of RAP is purely optional.

It is up to each customer to decide whether to use RAP. For those customers
who do not want to use RAP because they do not have the source code, we
respect their decision and hope that they can understand and respect ours.
