Report Designer Question About Changes to the Underlying Database Table

Hello All!!!

I am using version 10 and I have a question about the underlying database
table with regards to the report designer.

If I have report linked to a table with 5 fields, if that table's structure
changes and it either increases or decreases the number of fields that it
has, will I ever see the new structure of the database in my designer? Is
there anything that I must do to "refresh" what my report sees with regards
to the table?

Hi Everett,

Once you alter the database, you can try clearing the MetaData Cache. This
should force ReportBuilder to refresh the definitions.
