Help with Complex Call Summmary Report
I am trying to write a report that has a lot of summary information. A cut
down version that displays the concept is below. Firstly, I would like to
Know whether this is possible with Version 9.03 of the report builder that
has been build into Service desk Application we have, and secondly, how do I
create the quesries as it requires multiple passes through the data, one for
each column and thirdly how to break by months, and thirdly How to create
reinteraatively do this for each month in the date range. Any help would be
appreciated.
My main data is in the Call Table which has thousands of call records over
many months. The call table has fields:
Call.Log_Date
Call.Close_Date
Call.Call_Category (there is a seperate table with the Call Categories)
I want to enter a date range for reporting with the date picker (easy part).
Say if I enter 01 Dec 2008 and 31 Mar 2009 as my date range the report would
look like (obviously the data would not be the same for each month as shown
below):
Report Name: Monthly Service Requests Groupded by Category
----------------------------------------------------------

Open_At_End_Of_Month

Are you a registered user of ReportBuilder or are you using the Service Desk
application with ReportBuilder built-in only?
