ANN: eDocEngine 3.0 with Unicode PDF generation - Preview now available; 10% discount ends today

We are happy to announce the availability of eDocEngine VCL v3.0 Preview.
eDocEngine VCL v3.0 uses our new PDF processing technology and the new PDF
engine now supports true Unicode text rendering, apart from several new
features.
In this preview release we are providing EXE demos for exporting from
ReportBuilder, EMF files and other formats to PDF. You can now check out the
Unicode text rendering capability of eDocEngine 3.0.

Gnostice customers have been sent the beta binaries for eDocEngine 3.0, to
try it out along with their applications in the Delphi IDE. If you are a

Following features are supported in this preview release:
- Unicode Text rendering
- Vertical Text rendering
- Rotated text rendering (has known issues in certain cases)
- PDF Compression
- General page and document properties, and document information fields
[Author, Creator...]
Following features are not supported in this preview release:
- Exporting text where the font used in the report or EMF file does not
exist on the system the export is being run/exported
- Font embedding
- Exporting of images and shapes
- Form elements, annotations and bookmarks
- PDF Encryption
- Emailing
Limitations of this EXE Preview:
- A maximum of 5 pages of the report are exported, starting from first page
- Font used in the report must be installed on the system where the PDF is
being generated. System where the PDF is being viewed need not have the
font.
We will have an update to this preview very shortly, with support for most
of the currently unsupported features.
