Big fonts in windows 7 messes up report
Hi,
Some of my users use Windows 7 with big fonts (125%).
When a report is previewed the fontsize in the report is increased as well.
This results in messed up reports as fields start overlapping.
Changing the fontsize in Windows 7 back to normal (100%) solves the problem.
In Windows XP and Vista this problem does not occur.
Bye the way: the same goes for some none scaled forms. Some fontsizes are
still increased.
Does anybody else have experienced this?
Regards,
Stef

I performed some tests here using the RB Demos. I ran the main reports demo,
the end-user report explorer demo and the crosstab demo. These demos store
report definitions in Forms, Database, and .RTM files respectively. I did
not encounter any issues.
For my testing I used Windows 7, Delphi 2010, and ReportBuilder 11.06. Using
a different version of Delphi should provide the same results.
I don't think there is a difference between Vista and Windows 7 handling of
large fonts. Internally Windows 7 is actually Windows 6.1 when you check the
OS versions. This was done for application compatibility.

Thank you. I've tried to come up with some samplecode, but I didn't get the
strange behaviour also.
Maybe it's some specific problem on the clients computer.
Thanks anyway.

Yesterday I had another user that had the same behaviour with the report.
After setting fonts in Windows 7 to 100% the problem was solved again.
It's strange because most users have no problems on Windows 7.
On Windows XP and Vista no users reported this behaviour.
My development environment: Windows XP, Delphi 2007 and RB 11.07 V2.
