When I run a large report and close the screen prior the the sql completing I get a "Access violation at address 06100210. Read of address06100210" error How can I stop this
At what point are you getting the error? Is this while previewing a report or printing/exporting? Are you closing the window by using the Cancel dialog (dialog that displays the report progress)?
Using Delphi 7, Report Builder 10.06, Microsoft SQL Server Crashes while previewing a report frmReport (which holds the ppViewer) is displayed and you are waiting for the SQL to complete If you close the frmReport you get the error message
First upgrade your version of ReportBuilder to 10.09 and see if that helps the issue. Contact info@digital-metaphors.com with your serial number for upgrade instructions.
If you are still having issues, please send a simple example demonstrating this behavior (either using the DBDEMOS database or Northwind/Pubs sample database in SQL server) that I can run on my machine in .zip format to support@digital-metaphors.com and I'll take a look at it for you.
