Possible to generate group email files without sending?

Hi,

Is it possible to generate the separate PDF files from a report with group
emails but without actually sending the files by email? It seems that in
order to produce the separate files,
Report.Group[x].GroupFileSettings.NewFile must be TRUE as setting this to
false produces only the single file, so I assumed
Report.Group[x].GroupFileSettings.EmailFile should control whether to
actually send the file or not, but in my tests it doesn't seem to matter
whether this is true or false, it still sends the emails. What I'd like to
do is just generate the files to be attached to the email, but not create
the email. Is this possible?

Hi Stephen,


You are correct, this in how it is supposed to work . There is now a
patch available for RB 12.01 that solves this issue. Contact
support@digital-metaphors.com to receive the patch.
