14.03 - does mouse wheel need a jump start?

edited February 2012 in General
Not a big deal, but little anoying ...

1. Preview multi page report
2. Set page scroll to 'Continuous'
3. Mouse wheel works as expected ...
4. Change page view by clicking on any of the three icons (Whole Page,
Page Width, or 100%)
5. Mouse wheel stops working
6. Move preview scroll bar down (far right on the screen) just a bit,
or press Tab couple of times until page area gets focus again)
7. Mouse wheel is alive and well again.

Is anyone seeing this?

I guess after you click any of these three view buttons, focus doesn't
go back where it's supposed to be (which is not happening with other
buttons on the preview screen).

XE2 upd 3, RB 14.03 Pro, Win7 Pro x64.

    Hi Zoran,

In my testing with Delphi XE2 and RB 14.03 I was unable to recreate this
behavior. Are you experiencing this only at runtime? Is this in the
Designer preview or just the preview window itself? Are you using a
custom preview? Any more information you can give me on how to recreate
    this would be very helpful.

Strange... When I run RB demo all works fine. In my app it doesn't.
    I'll look into it further.

It happens at runtime. I just call ppReport.Print and it goes to
default print preview window (not customized). Report has pipeline
which is connected to a datasource. Before print I disable table
controls. Report is really very simple - just list of some columns.
Whole report is few pages long. At designtime all works ok.

The same thing happens inside the Learn Report Builder tutorial. The
mousewheel does need a kick start. I have been clicking on the
scrollbar and then the mousewheel works.

    Hi Michael,

Thanks for pointing this out. It seems in some cases while previewing
from the designer the scroll bar is loosing focus. I will research this
further and post back here when a solution is found.
