Code Explorer secrets
I've been developing apps with RB for over 12 years and I've always
meant to ask why a context menu is used with the Code Explorer in the
Calc workspace to change the view (Events, Variables or Module). Surely
end users would find tabs or radio buttons a bit more intuitive?
Most of our users are very low tech and just clicking on the Calc tab is
enough to make them reach for the phone and call support. Surely having
the the Code Explorer in the correct "view" is essential to navigating
one's way around RAP? Not making it obvious how to change it seems very
odd to me.
I know this really is a very minor detail in the great scheme of things,
but somehow its always bugged me.

Thanks for the feedback. We will consider something like this for a
later release of ReportBuilder.

I thought I'd give this a "bump" because I really do believe we'd gain a
lot in usability for quite a modest amount of work here. In every
customer support ticket where we have to refer them to the Calc tab we
first have to explain how to toggle between the three different views to
make sure they are on the correct one. Otherwise we start getting
screenshots back illustrating that what they see bears no resemblance to
what we are describing. Its a bit of a bore
P.S. you already do what's needed for the Code Toolbox area (Data,
Objects, Language), so why is the Code Explorer any different?
