Popup Calculations form not working in 15.01

edited November 2013 in General
The Calculations form popup (launched from Calcuations context menu) for
TppVariables is READ ONLY. Apart from not being able to edit it, even
clicking on it doesn't auto-add the Value := text.

Repeatable in EndUser Paradox demo.

    Paul,

This issue is isolated to Delphi 7 and there is a patch available.
Registered RB 15.01 Build 2 customers can email support@ to request the
    patch.

For future reference please always specify Delphi version and other
environment info. Going forward I recommend updating your Delphi version to
the latest. Delphi has evolved a long long way since D7 :)

I'm only D2007, not D7, but I should have mentioned my version, agreed.
Presumably, the patch will still work?

Got the patch and it works with D2007. I imagine you can guess why we
haven't gone with XE? yet: Unicode strings. We'll get there one day :)

What issues do you have moving to Unicode VCL?

suggests a rather daunting prospect, so given that we've been working on
a major project upgrade for about 5 years (in beta right now), we've
dodged it, esp. as we use plenty of obscure 3rd party libraries in
addition to some of the major VCL players (DevExpress, TMS, NexusDB, RB).

We'd love to move to XE5, so if anyone's got any tips about how to make
it all less painful I'd love to hear from you :)
