TppReport.Template.FileName must have vallue ?

Hello,

I have a very simpel report, that is part of the form.
However, I havt to fill in the Template.Filename property ?

When there is a plcal path, it gives an error when deploying it on another
machine where the path does not exists.

Why is it trying to load the report from file, when it is also a part of the
form ? Am I missing some property / configuration ?

(I solved it by making the path relative, and shipping the reportfile with
the appliaction, but that's not really ideal... )

Hi Dirk,

Be sure you do not have the Report.SaveAsTemplate property set to True.
This will ensure that the report is saved and loaded from the form
definition.

Just curious :is this new ? Or dit the default value change ?
(I never had this problem before, and use it for > 10 years now :-) )

This behavior has been in the product for 10+ years, almost since the
beginning.
