Re:Duplex - Groups
Hi there
I have a report as.....
Title
PageHeader
Group1Header
Group2Header
Detail
Group2Footer
Group1Footer
PageFooter
NOTE : GroupHeader.ReprintOnSubsequentPages=True
The report prints as expected, and all is good!!!
However, I now wish to print using a duplex printer. Therefore I need the
report to insert 'blank' pages if the report starts a new group on a 'Even'
page. This therefore ensures all groups are started on odd pages ie group
starts on pages 1, 3, 7 etc
I have set Group.StartOnOddPage on both groups, but this does not give the
desired effect. I have also tried using tppPageBreaks, but again there are
timing issues.
Do you have any suggestions, how I can have a multi-group report, that
always starts the groups on Odd Pages???
Many thanks

Which version of ReportBuilder and Delphi are you currently using?
I did a quick test with a simple report and two groups (one nested) and
was able to get both groups to "start on odd page" as the property
states. As far as I can tell, the feature is working as designed for
nested groups.
Are you able to recreate this behavior with a simple example I could run
here? If so, please send it to support@digital-metaphors.com in .zip
format and I'll take a look at it for you.
