Using Ctrl+A for selecting all elements
Hi,
using Ctrl+A or the equivalent menu-item to select all elements only
works after having manually selected one element before.
No element selected, no elements will be selected.
Bug or feature? (RB 17.02)

This is functioning as designed. The designer work space needs focus
for any shortcut keys to function. This means that you need to click
somewhere within the work space (band, component, etc.) in order to use
the shortcuts.
This could be improved so that when the report itself is selected, the
work space has focus. We will consider enhancing this for a later release.
