Sorting in CrossTab

edited August 2016 in General
Hi,

First, excuse my english,

I am evaluating ReportBuilder and i tried to use the crosstab, in my
query i sort the month (January, february...) and i get a good result
and when i execute a crosstab i get a wrong sort even if i tell him to
not sort, i tried to add a column with numbers but i can't hide it.

What can i do to display the result of my query without any change ?

Thanks

Chouk

    Hi Chouk,

In my testing, the Column sort for soNone is working, but the Row sort for
soNone is not. I created a patch for RB 17.02 to resolve the issue. If you
purchase the registered version, you can email support@ and request the
    patch.

There is currently no support for hiding a row or column.

    Hi,

Month (January, February...) is a column in crosstab, when the button
"sort none" is selected (in the crosstab editor) i get the result sorted
DESD by default, if i execute my query in DataModule i get good result.

If you would like to create a simple example project that I can run in the
debugger, I can test it with the patch I created. Please use standard Delphi
components and RB. Use the RBDemos data or copy data to TClientDataSets.
Send in zip format - include only .dpr, .pas, .dfm. Send to support@
