Print driver host for 32bit applications has stopped working
Hi,
This concerns Report Builder 15.05 and Delphi 2009. I'm aware these are
both old products, but we're unable to upgrade from this configuration.
When running RB apps on an x64 machine, users are getting the error:
"Print driver host for 32bit applications has stopped working"
It happens even on a simple application containing just a TppReport
component and nothing else. If the users remove all printers from the
machine, it works again, but then fails if they re-install the printers.
Do you know of a solution to this?
Thanks,
Steve Branley

A quick search on Google reveals that this is likely a network printer
issue.
Most solutions involve being sure to upgrade to the latest version of
the printer driver available and/or reinstalling the network printer as
a local device (connected over IP).

Yes, I've seen the google search results, but we've tried those
solutions and have the same problem, but only with Report Builder.

This is not an issue we have encountered before with any other RB users.
Have you tried building your application as a 64 bit app?
Does this happen for every network or local printer installed?
