I have another report in which all of the queries are composed of calulated fields. Because of this I cannot link the queries to one another. Is there any way to reset search field values for the detail queries before they run for each master record?
This example shows how to programmatically create the datapipline links. Note that the datapipeline traversal logic requires the detail data to be sorted on the linking fields.
That would work if I were coding reports into the program but I am creating these reports through the end-user/report explorer environment so that the users can modify the report if they need to. I need a way of linking these or automatically setting search criteria of the detail queries after record change of the master. THIS MUST BE DONE FROM THE REPORT ITSELF!!!
