TeeChart doesn't see LargeInt (calculated fields)

edited May 2004 in End User
Hello,

When you use a Sum field in Data Tab, ReportBuilder put it as dtLargeInt.
The problem is that this field isn't recognize by DPTeeChart Graph when I
put it in a serie. Is there a problem with that?

Sometimes I want to create an EXP field which is a percentaje but
ReportBuilder put it always as dtLargeInt. Is there a way to change it to
dtDouble?

Thanks,

Jose Maria Sanmartin

    Hi Jose,

Which version of ReportBuilder are you using? In my testing with RB 7.03, I
was unable to recreate this issue. If you are using the latest version of
ReportBuilder, please send a small example using the DBDEMOS database to
support@digital-metaphors.com and I'll take a look at it for you.

    Helo Nico,

    I am using Delphi 6 ReportBuilder 7.03 IbExpress 6.05.

I think that the problem is in my environment because when I try to
create a calculated field the field is LargeInt instead of Integer. I have
tried to create an example with Interbase EndUser but here the field is
    Integer.

I'll check what the problem is.

    Thanks,

    Jose Maria Sanmartin

    Hello Nico,

The problem happens with Interbase when Sql Dialect = 3.

    I'll send you an example.

    Thanks,
