Crosstab endless TppCustomPreview.StatusChangeEvent: error

RB7.04 D6 EUR with DADE

If in the designer when the preview tab is indicating calculating
cross tab the user clicks on the Data tab an error is generated and
repeated endlessly: TppCustomPreview.StatusChangeEvent: Must have a
non-SimplePanel status bar

To reproduce use the 1. Report Explorer RB demo to create any cross
tab that takes a few seconds.

There is now a patch available for RB 9.01 that fixes this issue. Registered
users of RB 9.01 can email support@digital-metaphors.com and request the
patch.

Nard,

Does this mean that 7.04 is unsupported? Meaning that you only
support the most current release and no longer support even one
release back?

Correct. See my email reply to you dated 1/12/2005 that was a reponse to a
different question that you had.

There will be no further updates/fixes to RB 7.x.

I recommend updating to RB 9. RB supports D2005, D7, and D6. It contains
many fixes and improvements made since RB 7.04 and it includes on going
patches and maintenance releases.
