End User Editing and Param Prompts
Hi All,
We need to change the end user reporter in our application and would like to
change to RB very much. But (there is always a but) we must be able to edit
the SQL of the query have still have the parameters prompted and have any
other subordinate queries work as well.
I have been told by DM that it is not a feature of ReportBuilder and that I
must implement it in code somehow and have even been shown where to start.
I have no doubt that the staff at DM would help if asked and this is not a
dig at the product in anyway.
The trouble is I don't want to have to learn the guts of RB inside out to
get it to work. I want to find someone who has already solved this problem
and either obtain or purchase the completed product.
Has anyone done this already and if so are they willing to share it even if
it costs us?
