TeeChart graphs

edited July 2005 in End User
Hi

We have bought TeeChart 7, but we cant access all the different types of
graphs.

On Steema's homepage at
http://www.steema.com/products/teechart/screenshots.html there are a lot
more chart types to be seen than we can access from the ReportDesigner.

I can see all the options from the above link if I add a TeeChart component
to a normal form.

Is it possible to give our users access to the extra graphs?

Kind regards
Steffen

    Hi Steffen,

The TeeChart editor in ReportBuilder is simply a wrapper around the original
TeeChart editor... there should be no difference between the one used in RB
and the one used in a Delphi app. Which version of ReportBuilder are you
currently using? Did you re-install ReportBuilder after you installed the
newer version of TeeChart? In my testing with RB 9.02, TeeChart 7.04, and
Delphi 7 all of the chart options were available to me in the TeeChart
    editior.

We are using ReportBuilder 9.02 and TeeChart 7.04

We are using an inherited version of the TeeChart wrapper, and we did
reinstall reportbuilder after installing the charting components.

I am sending a test-application, and if you could tell me if you see the
same or more, that would be very appreciated.

    Kind regards

    Hi Steffen,

All of these newer chart options require that you add another TeeChart unit
to your uses clause at runtime. For example, adding "TeeSurfa" adds the 3D
tab and "TeeDonut" adds the donut chart to the Extended tab. Please see the
TeeChart help for more information on these files.
