On a certain range of foxpro tables using Advantage and RB7.x , when I create a new Dataview in end user designer I get error Invalid SQL statement Error Code 35778 is unknown. I just choose the table and click Finish
Position the mouse over the DataView and press ctrl + left mouse button - this will display the SQL statement. Examine the SQL statement and report the SQL statement and error to Advantage tech support.
The Designer.DataSettings DatabaseType and SQLType properties can be used to control the syntax of the SQL that is generated.
