Report parameters

I am just getting started with the end user reports but have a question. If
I have a report for example that has a query that needs a begin and end date
specified, is there some type of interface available to ask the user for
this info? Or do they have to go into the data section and manually set all
that up?

I'm trying to use Report Builders end user reports like you would use
Crystal Reports because we have lots of users that want to be able to modify
the reports or write their own reports. However, if they have to go in to
manually set things up each time they run the reports I'm worry that I'll
just end up with yet another support nightmare.

    Hi Glenn,

    Yes this is possible using the AutoSearch feature in ReportBuilder. Inside
    the query designer of the Data tab, you will see the AutoSearch option for
    each search expression you add to your query. Clicking this checkbox will
    enable your users to define the search condition on the fly from a separate
    dialog in the previewer. For examples of this see the end user demos
    located in the RBuilder\Demos\End User\... directory.
