When I use the MergeMenu property on the TppDesigner component, it appears
that the separator menu items from my source menu show up blank, i.e. no
caption or separator line in the TppDesigner menu.

Thanks for reporting this issue, it will be fixed for the next maintenance
release. I was not able to create a patch because the fix requires a change
to Interface section of the relevant unit.
