Designer/Explorer Bugs

ReportBuilder 10.02
Delphi 6 Update Pack 2

Hi,

I've just upgraded to RB10 from 7.02, and I found some problems in
TppReportExplorer / TppReportDesigner in a classic end user solution.
I get some errors and I can reproduce some of them in the interbase bde end
user project. I cannot reproduce all the errors and I hope these two bugs
can help you to fix all; all I can say is that with ReportBuilder 7.02 with
the same code I didn't get these errors and I cannot deliver my software
with these problems.

*******************Reproducible problems (with BDE/Interbase
EndUser)*****************************

1)Access violation at address 0097EB73 in module 'rbRIDE106.bpl'. Read of
address 00000008.
You need a "long time" report. Load it in the Designer, change the active
page to the preview page and then change the page again during the preview
calculation. If you don't get it try more times.

2)List index out of bounds (0) / Access violation at address 40005988 in
module 'rtl60.bpl'. Read of address FFFFFFDC.
Create a simple report with a subreport and save it in the database.
Load it do design it, go to the "calc page" and select the subreport
Close the designer
Try to open another Report: you get the first error
Try to move in the "Report Tree" and you get the access violation.

If you want I can send you the project and the database (EMPLOYEE.GDB), but
I only made a simple report in the BDE End User Demo.
(I fixed it because it had some bug in the datasets attached to the items
pipeline and I compile it with runtime packages, but I did not touch the
designer and the explorer.)

Is there any workaround for the problems above?
May you fix them please?

Thank you in advance,
Massimiliano Trezzi.

Please tell me somthing about these issues.
I need to know if you're going(trying) to fix them or not.

    Thank you in advance.

    - There is patch available to fix the second issue - the subreport loading.

    - We have not been able to recreate the first issue. I will email you the
patches and then you can try testing again. If the issues persist, we need
an example or more exact steps to reproduce.
