The application I am working on uses a 3 Tier architecture, so I cannot
load directly from the database, and I need some place to be able to
track the Modification status (New, Modified or Unchanged) as well as
the storage information (PK ID for report table).

I am contemplating attaching an object to the ppReport component's Tag
property to house this info. Is there a better place?

From your next post, I gather that you found the Report.Modified boolean
property.
