Define Global Procedures

edited April 2006 in End User
Is it possible to define global procedures which could be used across
reports without registering them? We have seen instances where customers
will create procedures and use them across reports. Sometimes it makes sense
to pull them back in and register them as functions in RAP but other times
it doesn't make sense. Currently the only way, outside of registering them,
is to copy each procedure. Is there a better way?

    1. The customer can create a set of global procedures in RAP and then export
the code module (select File | Export from the Calc workspace). Then create
a new report and select File | Import from the Calc workspace.

    2. Registrating RAP pass-thru functions is another good solution.
