Printing Error

edited May 2006 in End User
I am using templates with a FooterBand Before Print, Deatail before Print, a
Report Before Print, a headerband before print, and a summary band before
print. If i just print it to the printer the report prints fine but if i
preview the report and then print it from the preview, the pop up that
usually says what page is printing pops up 0, -1, 0, -1 and so forth and
prints out around 5000 blank pages. Do you have any ideas of what may be
causing this to happen?

What is count? I think that is your problem.

You should only use TppVariable components to peform calculations. By
default, a page re-generates each time you navigate to it in the viewer or
print it to the printer, or print to a file etc. Have you tried navigating
forward and backward in the preview? Each time you visit Page X that page
will be generated - meaning the events will fire. The TppVariable component
can save/restore its intermediate results as of the beginning of each page.

If you want each page to generate only a single time, then set
    Report.CachePages to True
