Odd behaiviour when using Report-Explorer with DOA Components
Hi,
RBServer/Ent 10.3
If I use a Report-Explorer with a Template pipeline, and using DOA
components to connect to Oracle then
when creating a new report on save I get the message "Template_T: (My
Template table) Cannot Modify a read-only dataset".
However if I open an existing report I can modify it ok and then save it ok.
My Template_T table does have the Rowid and it is defiantly not Read-only.
If I remove the template and just use the Folder & Item pipelines it works
OK (but its quite slow with a large number of reports)

I changed the DOA components to ODAC.
Exactly the same queries and setup and everything worked OK?
Is this a bug in daDOA.pas?

There is now a patch available for RB 10.03 that fixes this issue. Please
send a small email to support@digital-metaphors.com requesting the patch and
