"Cannot store a template to a field of this type."
I am currently demoing the rb designer. I have setup all my tables according
to the help file. I can bring up the report explorer an add folders with no
problems. When I create a new report from the explorer, as soon as I click
the 'File' menu, I get this error: "Cannot store a template to a field of
this type."
I have tried setting the template field in the table as both a memo blob and
binary blob with no luck in either instance. Any assistance is appreciated.
Using:
Delphi 7.1
RBuilder 10 demo version
Firebird 1.5

Did you use the CreateEndUserTables.sql file located in the
\RBuilder\Demos\4. EndUser Databases\InterBase\... directory to create your
tables? This defines the template field as a BLOB and gives it a segment
size and subtype. This field type works correctly on our machines with the
latest version of Interbase.
Which connectivity are you using with Firebird?
