Layout Problems
I have a report that details components required to manufacture an Window
Frame. Sometimes our fabricators miss out a particular component which
causes much wasted time and money.
I order to try to prevent this I have been asked to highlight these
components, either by printing them in bold, in a larger font or a
combination of the two. This is done dynamically as the dataset is
traversed.
On the 1st pass through the data the report is laid out correctly. On the
2nd pass, the changes to the font sizes tends to move some of the lines past
the end of the page, unfortunately when this happens, the format of the line
is kept, but the data appears to get lost, resulting in the following line
being printed in the wrong format and the line that should have printed
disappearing into the ether!
Report Builder Enterprise 5.5.
TIA

Are you changing the font of the component at runtime in an event? If so,
you might try either moving the component further away from the edge of the
paper or shrinking the font size as you do so.
