printing onto tie labels

edited February 2007 in End User
Dear DM,
my customer has A4 sheets with 10 labels to a sheet (1 across,
10 down) (plastic, used for tying around a plant).

They want to print 4 of one, 7 of another 6 of a third etc.

I can design a label layout that is the size of a tie label, but it only
prints one per sheet.

How can I get the print report to print x sequentially on a sheet, then
start the next y copies etc.

I would appreciate any suggestions.

I would also be really grateful if someone could look at my post on 21st
Feb.

many thanks

John Evans

    - theDetailBand.BandsPerRecord property can be used to specify that you want
to print the same record X times.

    - another common requirement is to skip some lables at the beginning,
because the sheet is already partially used. The followign example shows how
    to do both of these...
