I using RB10.06. I upgraded from RB6.03 because of the Angle feature. Now I'm stuck once again! How can I angle some text and still be able to use WordWrap?
The angle property can only be applied to single line text. The ability to rotate wordwrapped text is something we will consider adding to a later version of ReportBuilder. One option is to use more than one single lined text object with the same angle to act as each line of text.
I can understand why you are having difficulties regarding wrapped and rotated text. But how about implementing wrapped text for 0, 90, 180 and 270 degrees. That must be a simple implementation? It's just length and height calculations.
That would probably help a lot (99%) of developers...
