I created some own customer search panels to show a dropdown for selection
Example : Field is EMP_NO
The search panel shows a dropdown where an employee can be selected.
The first time i open the report in the end user tools it works fine.
The panel is shown , no problem.
Then when i press the search button i get a message telling 'field EMP_NO
not found'

What can cause this.

Try adding RBuilder\Source to the Delphi library path. Set the debugger to
break on language exceptions. Build and run the project. The compiler will
stop and open the source code when the error occurs. Check the call stack.
