WPTools add-on for Report Build 7.03

edited April 2008 in End User
Does anyone know about the WPTools add-on ppWPToolsPack which provides a
rich text component that integrates into the report designer. I can't get
the content of one of this add-on's components to primake it into the PDF
when also using TExtraDevices.

Is there any support for ths WPTools add-on?

Thanks in advance

    Hi Michael,

The WPTools addon for ReportBuilder is currently used by numerous other
customers successfully. Perhaps some of them will chime in with their
experiences. For a quicker support response about the product, you may want
to contact WPCubed support. Also if you are having TExtraDevices issues,
the best direction would be to directly contact thier (Waler's) support.

WPTools offers a PDF export component that can work with RB. I had a
customer recently report that it worked well with the WPTools RichText
    add-on.

I notice you are using a very old version of ReportBuilder. Please consider
updating to RB 10 - download a trial version from our web site and give it a
try. (RB 10 can open and run reports created by prior versions. RB 10
    includes support for D6, D7, D2005, D2006, D2007. )

Thanks for the reply and sorry I meant to reply to the group.

I can't seem to reach the WPCubed people. After no response from my work
address, I tried emailing from my gmail account which reported their email
(support@wptools.de) as bad. Waler gave me this advice, which I was
    unfruitful to me:

"Did you add the component to your main form or include TXRB?"

    Do you know about TXRB?

I recommend asking Waler about TXRB. TXRB is a TExtraDevices unit.
