Autosearch Criteria
Hi,
RB 7.04
I have a report that uses 2 sub reports. I have end-user search criteria on
these. When, in the data definitions for each of the sub-reports, I set
AutoSearch in search criteria, so that the end-user can select a date
period, it appears to ignore the selection and shows all entries in the
sub-report. If I set Autosearch off it seems to correctly select the
correct entries but of course in this scenario the end-user cannot select a
date range.
Does this sound like a bug, or am I doing something wrong with the setup?
Thanks
Alex

I just checked the RB 7.04 fixes and it does not look like there was a date
related bug that was found. Take a look at the following rbWiki article on
the user input of dates. This should give you an idea about how
ReportBuilder accepts and processes date enteries.
