Are you certain you have RB Enterprise installed? The only reason the CrossTab component wouldn't be present would be that you are using the Standard version of ReportBuilder.
I would suggest re-installing ReportBuilder on your machine. This will give you a good excuse to upgrade your version to RB 11.08 as well . Contact info@digital-metaphors.com for upgrade instructions.
I think I figured out what is going on. I wrote this end-user report builder app years ago (probably before CrossTabs was even available), and after digging around a bit, I discovered that if I add the ppCTMain unit to my uses clause, then then CrossTab shows up in Advanced Components. Is that all that is needed? or is there more to it?
Ah... yes, I did not realize this was a runtime issue. Sorry, I must be a little slow this morning .
For the end-user designer, there are certain files that need to be added to the uses clause to register certain features. You're actually going to want to add ppCTDsgn to the uses clause rather than ppCTMain. See the following article.
