Defining DataType as Rich Text

How can I do this as there is no dtRichText. When a user drags one of these
fields onto a report I want a TppDBRichText component to be used!

Hi Ken,

This is not a feature of the Data Tree in ReportBuilder. This is a feature
that we are seriously considering for the next release of ReportBuilder.

Thanks for your reply.

How can a rich text field be used then. If a user adds a TppDBRichText
component and manually fills in the field on generation there's an error.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Ken,

What type of field are you connecting the DBRichText object to? The
TppDBRichText component is designed to be connected to a text or BLOB field
containing valid RTF data. If this data is not recognized as RTF, you may
receive an error.

Nico,

They were defined as memos. Have changed them to be blobs and do not get an
error and can manually assign them. When dragged into the designer they are
assumed to be images. Is there anyway I can change this behaviour?

In my first post I mentioned that this is not yet possible. We are strongly
considering adding this feature for the next major release of ReportBuilder.
